It's definitely a bitter-sweet task...pulling up all the plants you worked so hard to start or transplant and ripping out everything you tended to all summer... but also enjoying the crisp weather and dreaming of next season!
Our winter came a little later her in Utah but it sure did come hard. We had some record breaking amounts of water here. The weather made us wait tell later may to plant anything this year also.
My last green peppers succumbed to the frost the other day. However, my greens, cabbage and brocolli are still going strong! I am in the process of covering my raised beds with leaves and some manure so that they will be ready in the spring. I am a city gardener in Michigan.
